OVERVIEW

This project, developed in collaboration between Kyushu University and Kyushu Electric Power, consists of the identity design for the first Toyota SORA hydrogen-powered bus operating in Fukuoka. Focused on wrap design and information design, the project envisions the bus as an immersive experience that transports passengers into an alternative world, illustrating a possible carbon-neutral, hydrogen-driven future.

About the project

Rather than presenting technology solely through its technical specifications, the communication strategy emphasizes the relationship between innovation and human perception. The visual identity and onboard information system are designed to evoke a sense of wonder, immersing passengers in a narrative that highlights how sustainable technologies can shape new environmental possibilities. The result is a conceptual and experiential identity that reframes hydrogen mobility as a future people can feel, not just understand.
